Cathedral, Alcázar & Santa Cruz – Plaza de España & Modern Seville – Torre del Oro & Bullring

Day 1. Cathedral, Alcázar & Santa Cruz

On arrival at Seville International Airport you will be welcomed by our chauffer and then transfer to the hotel, followed by a day on your own. Capital of southern Spain's Andalusia region and famed for its Moorish heritage, flamenco music, and sun-drenched streets, it is home to about 700,000 people and blends rich history with a lively modern tapas culture along the Guadalquivir River. Take yourself off to see Seville's Cathedral, the world's largest Gothic cathedral and climb the Giralda tower for sweeping city views. Next stop could be the Real Alcázar — a breathtaking Mudéjar palace and gardens, one of the official residences of the Spanish royal family. Spend a relaxing afternoon wandering the narrow lanes and orange-tree courtyards of Barrio Santa Cruz, the old Jewish quarter before settling down to enjoy tapas at one of Seville's traditional eateries.

Day 2. Plaza de España & Modern Seville

Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel before heading for a morning tour of Plaza de España, a stunning tiled plaza with canals – built in 1929 for the Ibero-American Expo of that year, it is one of Spain's most photogenic spots. From the Plaza de Espana, move to La Encarnación square in the city's old quarter for the Setas de Sevilla, a massive wooden structure known as 'The Mushorroms' where you can sample Seville's delicious cuisine whilst taking in a fantastic panoramic view of Seville's old city. After lunch and a small siesta, venture across the Guadalquivir River to explore Triana, a colorful ceramic and flamenco neighborhood. Round the day off with a traditional flamenco show.

Day 3. Torre del Oro, Bullring & Departure

A buffet breakfast at the hotel, followed by visits to Torre del Oro, a dodecagonal military watchtower erected in the 13th century to guard access to Seville via the Guadalquivir River and the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla, the city's famous 12,000 seater bull-ring and home to one of the world's most well-known bull-fighting festivals held each year during the annual Seville Fair. After a farewell lunch, one final stop at Archive of the Indies, a museum inaugurated in 1785 to house archival materials from the Spanish Empire's history in the Americas and Asia, before a private transfer to Seville International Airport for your onward travel.
