Tabuk City Break, Saudi Arabia
3 DAYS

Tabuk
City Break

Day 1. Arrival & Tabuk Castle

Arrive in Tabuk — the largest city in northwestern Saudi Arabia, on the ancient Incense Route and a key stop on the Ottoman Hejaz Railway. Visit Tabuk Castle (Tabuk Palace) — the 17th-century Ottoman-era fort that served as a stopping point for pilgrims on the Hajj route to Mecca, with its fine interior courtyard and period furnishings. Explore the Ottoman Railway Station — one of the best-preserved stations on the historic Hejaz Railway. Overnight in Tabuk.

Day 2. Wadi Qaraqir & Dissah

Full day in Tabuk’s extraordinary natural landscape. Drive to the dramatic Wadi Qaraqir — a spectacular sandstone canyon with towering rust-coloured cliffs, natural arches and ancient petroglyphs. Continue to the Oasis of Dissah — a lush palm oasis hidden deep within a sandstone gorge, with pools of clear water and dramatic rock formations. The area is known for its ancient Nabataean-era carvings. Overnight in Tabuk.

Day 3. Harrat Al-Uwayrid & Departure

Morning visit to the extraordinary Harrat Al-Uwayrid — one of the world’s largest lava fields, a dramatic landscape of black volcanic basalt covering thousands of square kilometres, with ancient craters, volcanic cones and a haunting lunar-like terrain. Transfer to Tabuk Regional Airport for onward travel.
