Buraydah City Break, Saudi Arabia
3 DAYS

Buraydah
City Break

Day 1. Arrival & Camel Market

Arrive in Buraydah — the capital of the Qassim region, the agricultural and commercial heartland of central Saudi Arabia, set in the fertile Wadi Ar-Rumah. Head immediately to the famous Buraydah Camel Market — the largest camel market in the world, where thousands of camels are bought and sold daily, offering a vivid and authentic glimpse of traditional Arabian commerce and pastoral life. Overnight in Buraydah.

Day 2. Dates Market & Al Qassim Villages

Morning at Buraydah’s extraordinary Dates Market — the Qassim region produces over 100 varieties of date and is Saudi Arabia’s most important date-growing region. The market explodes in August with the annual Date Festival, when millions of kilograms of fresh dates are auctioned. Visit the traditional villages of Mithnab and Al Ghat — beautifully preserved old agricultural villages with traditional mud-brick architecture, ancient falaj irrigation channels and date-palm groves. Overnight in Buraydah.

Day 3. Ushaiger Heritage Village & Departure

Drive to Ushaiger Heritage Village — a spectacular 4,000-year-old mud-brick village in the Najd plateau, remarkably well-preserved, with a labyrinth of narrow alleys, traditional homes with carved gypsum decorations, ancient mosques and the characteristic Najdi architectural style of high walls and central courtyards. Transfer to Prince Nayef Bin Abdulaziz Regional Airport for onward travel.
